The solution allows BW teams to quickly select and copy subsets of relevant data from production to non-production targets, and reduce the data footprint of business data warehouses. The announcement was made at SAP TechEd 2009 in Phoenix.

This new addition to the Gold Client line of products answers the demand among SAP BW users for software that allows them to easily select current and relevant data they want to use for development, testing and training. Because the software is designed specifically for the SAP BW environment, Gold Client BW helps organizations reduce cost, save time and decrease storage requirements while providing clean, fresh and accurate data for BW users.

Gold Client Solutions eliminates the need to copy the entire Production database to non-production environments by allowing users of SAP solutions to export user-defined subsets of SAP data dynamically from any source within the environment. Gold Client extensions enable these teams to import the data subsets back to the environment as-needed for development, testing and training.
