Will Oversee Expansion of C-COR’s Global Information System
STATE COLLEGE, Pa.--C-COR Incorporated (NASDAQ:CCBL) today announced the appointment of Jack Higham to the position of Vice President of Information Technology. Mr. Higham assumes his responsibilities effective January 29, 2007, reporting directly to CEO Dave Woodle, and will be based at C-COR’s Corporate Headquarters in State College, Pennsylvania. His primary responsibility will be to build on C-COR’s strong commitment to corporate information technology by expanding the capabilities of the company’s extensive network, computer services, and information systems, including C-COR’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System deployed in its facilities around the world.
With over 30 years experience in developing, deploying, and managing major information systems for manufacturing and service sector companies, Mr. Higham is recognized for his special expertise in enterprise resource planning that taps into the latest information technology. He holds dual degrees in Mathematics and Economics from Youngstown State University, and most recently served as CIO for AccuWeather, Inc., a national provider of weather services to public, private, and media outlets, where he was in charge of systems engineering, system operations, and customer service systems.
