Rapport to Lead Development of Next-generation .NET Business Optimization Solutions for Companies Using SAP Software
PORTLAND, Ore.--ERP-Link Corporation has appointed Sebastian Rapport as its new vice-president of Engineering. Rapport brings to the company more than 20 years’ experience in technology development and engineering team leadership. Rapport joins ERP-Link from Revionics, a leading provider of price optimization software for small- to medium-sized retailers. As CTO there, he was responsible for the company’s technology roadmap and design of the grid computing architecture that powers its analytical pricing services. Before joining Revionics, Rapport was CTO of .NET Technologies for ERP-Link Corporation, leading SAP/Microsoft service-oriented architecture development efforts for the company’s operational, business intelligence, and business warehousing solutions. Previously, Rapport led the eBusiness division of CAM Systems, responsible for SaaS electronic buying, selling, and invoicing products for the U.S. cable television market. While at CAM Systems, he served on the U.S. Television Bureau Standards Committee and contributed to the Bureau’s XML Industry Standard Protocol.
Earlier in his career, Rapport developed gaming engines, operating system architectures, OSI stack protocols and embedded systems for companies including Apple Computer, Infosphere, and Merchandising Technologies, Inc.
