SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.--June 14, 2006--Alvarez & Marsal Business Consulting, LLC announced that Eric Wright, a seasoned business consultant focused on providing finance solutions to CFOs and other senior executives, has joined as managing director. He is based in San Francisco.

Bringing more than 17 years of consulting and industry experience, Mr. Wright has deep expertise in finance organization strategy and transformation, working capital management, cost reduction, benchmarking, and performance measurement and metrics. Throughout the course of his career, he has helped clients free up hundreds of millions of dollars in cash flow through better management of cash, receivables, payable and inventory.

Mr. Wright's experience spans a wide range of industries, including: high tech, aerospace, consumer products and industrial. Prior to joining A&M, he founded and served as president and CEO of Tideline Capital, a specialty financial services company. Prior to that, he was president of the Americas for an international consulting firm, REL Consultancy, and earlier served as partner in the financial cost management practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he focused on the technology sector. Mr. Wright began his consulting career in the reorganization advisory services group of Deloitte & Touche in New York, and also spent five years as an aircraft design engineer working on some of the most prominent programs at Lockheed Corporation and Northrop.

Mr. Wright received a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Southern California and a master's degree in business administration from Columbia University.
