Datatel Appoints Vice President of Sales
Sales Executive David J. Gutch Joins Company’s Management Team
FAIRFAX, Va.--Datatel®, Inc. today announced that David J. Gutch has joined the company as vice president of sales. Mr. Gutch will head Datatel’s Sales Division and focus on driving strategic revenue growth and positioning Datatel for continued success in the higher education technology and services market.
Mr. Gutch brings more than 25 years of experience in technology-related organizations, most recently as Everest Software’s senior vice president of worldwide sales and marketing. There he was responsible for all revenue and lead generation through both direct and indirect sales channels covering 49 countries. Previously, Mr. Gutch held executive sales positions at Infinium Software, a Web-integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) provider, and SER Solutions, a leading provider of software, hardware, and professional services for the call center industry.

A native of New Jersey, Mr. Gutch holds a degree in Economics from Boston College, where he was an honors graduate. Mr. Gutch resides in Waterford, Virginia with his wife and three children.
