Impart Solutions Announces Global Release of SaaS ERP Application

CHICAGO--Impart Solutions, a professional consulting firm specializing in assisting clients with maximizing technology investments, announced today the addition of proprietary, subscription-based ERP solutions to their client solution and service offerings.

The Impart applications are designed for mid-tier businesses that need much of the functionality afforded in the expensive, mega-priced packages, but are unwilling to pay for what is oftentimes overwhelming complexity and unneeded “bells and whistles.” “Some smaller companies using the large ERP packages have reported that they use only 20% or so of the available features,” according to Impart’s CEO, Reese Lucas. “Our goal was to provide these businesses with an affordable, subscription-based ERP solution that meets immediate needs, takes the pain and cost out of the implementation effort, and adds functionality only as business needs expand,” he said.

“In working with our clients on technology issues over the past few years, it became clear to us that mid-sized companies need ERP and related technology solutions that work out of the box, eliminate expensive up-front licensing fees, need only limited technology infrastructure, but provide world class performance and information equal to that of the big packages” said Greg Martin, Impart’s Executive Vice President for Product and Software Development. “Equally important is their need for the cost relief a subscription (monthly fee per user) affords them, eliminating the expensive up-front costs and the risks associated with a complicated software implementation project,” continued Martin.

Impart’s software applications include the bulk of functionality available in other world-class ERP solutions including financials, order entry, billing, inventory management, and manufacturing. These packages are already in use by name-brand manufacturing and distribution companies who have found that early adoption of Impart’s subscription ERP model has provided the benefits envisioned along with the desired cost savings.

Impart applications are hosted on offshore and U.S.-based servers, using specially developed Internet protocols, firewalls, and security measures to safeguard all transaction processing. Using organizations only have to commit to a minimum number of seats (10) for a two-year period. Each seat is billed to user organizations at the rate of $ 200 per month. Seats can be used either at the site of the business organization or remotely by the mobile workforce. The only real investment required by users is the conversion of existing orders and data files.
