Leading Tax Technology Company Plans to Double Consulting and Sales Staff Size

This expansion was kicked-off in response to strong market demand for integrated consulting and Web-based technology services in a post-Sarbanes-Oxley compliance environment.

Organizations are investing in the latest Web 2.0 and SOA tools, upgrading their ERP systems, and centralizing all their systems nation-wide and globally. The result is heavy demand from corporate tax departments for Web-based global tax solutions, as well as consulting services to help implement them. This has created a perfect storm for Vertex to increase its presence in the consulting market, while also satisfying demand for Web services solutions, thanks to a powerful combination of top-notch talent and robust products such as Vertex® O Series®.

To best address the recent surge in consulting contracts, Vertex has partnered with corporate recruiting firm TWC Group to actively recruit nationwide for a range of consulting roles, including:
- JD Edwards Technical Consultant, to focus on deploying JD Edward’s EnterpriseOne applications, and implementing Vertex’s tax technology solutions.
- Oracle Practice Lead, to provide leadership and direction for the Oracle ERP Solutions Practice; and manage consulting staff, services, and solutions.
- SAP Functional Consultant, to focus on the business tax process relating to SAP enterprise applications, and implement Vertex’s tax technology solutions to help achieve revenue and profit goals.
