Customer Data Integration, Data Stewardship Highlight 2006 DataFlux Users Event
Annual Conference Gives DataFlux Customers Best Practices, Practical Guidance
LAS VEGAS--Sept. 19, 2006--The annual DataFlux Users Event, a three-day conference focused on issues of data quality, customer data integration (CDI) and data stewardship, kicked off today in Las Vegas. This flagship annual event for customers of DataFlux, a leading provider of data quality and data integration solutions, is the first DataFlux Users Event held in Las Vegas.

Turnout at the 2006 conference has exceeded projections for attendance, customer involvement and sponsorships. Customers attending this year's event include representatives from organizations such as AEGON, Bell Mobility, Cintas, LexisNexis, Intrawest, the U.S. Department of Interior and RLPTechnologies.

The first-day keynote at the DataFlux Users Event is Jill Dyche, author, speaker, business consultant, and a partner at Baseline Consulting. Her presentation - "CDI at High Speed: Explaining the Velocity of CDI and MDM" - delivers an updated look at enterprise data integration via emerging CDI and MDM solutions. On the heels of her new book on CDI, Jill will explain why CDI is a critical component in a company's information quality and provisioning machinery, and why IT professionals are newly - and rightly - emboldened by master data management.

On the second day of the conference, Larry English - president and principal of Information Impact International and an internationally recognized speaker, educator, author and consultant in information and knowledge management - will provide a keynote address about information quality and information stewardship. Called "Don't Gamble with Your Data: Making IQ a Center of Excellence," this presentation will explore the concept of a "Center of Excellence" for data and information quality - and how companies can use these to guide a quality-first approach to corporate information.

For the third straight year, DataFlux will provide an on-site "Solutions Center" that offers attendees personalized, one-on-one guidance from DataFlux development and professional services staff. Following the two days of presentations and roundtable events, DataFlux customers can take advantage of accelerated training classes. These half-day sessions feature hands-on instructions focused on best practices in using DataFlux technology.

"Each year, the DataFlux Users Event not only witnesses impressive growth in the number of attendees, but we also see an increased interest in how data quality and data integration applies to a variety of enterprise initiatives," said Tony Fisher, president and CEO of DataFlux. "This year's concentration on CDI, as well as data stewardship, shows that DataFlux solutions are now thought of as a critical component of success for many top-tier companies."
