Frost & Sullivan Announces 2007 CXOs Choice Award Candidates for Best Enterprise Software Suites in the United States

PALO ALTO, Calif.--Frost & Sullivan announced its candidates for the 2007 CXOs Choice Awards for Best Enterprise Software Suites in the United States. The CXOs Choice Award for Enterprise Software Suites research asks various C-level executives (CXOs) and other leading organizational/department decision makers across the United States to evaluate attributes of Enterprise Software Suites.

The Choice Awards are part of Frost & Sullivans global program to recognize outstanding companies who exhibit the best practices across key growth drivers, says Frost & Sullivan Chairman David Frigstad. Our belief is that companies who excel will continue to grow and flourish.

Frost & Sullivan asks CXOs to choose the best Enterprise Software developers in the following categories/features: After Sales Support, After Sales Training, Application, Customization, Functionality, Innovation, Maintenance, Quality Control, Return-on-Investment (ROI), Security, Upgrades and User Friendly. The three general types of Enterprise Software Suites being tested are: Enterprise Resource Management (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Chain Supply Management (CSM).

This is the first time we are conducting this research and we are very interested to see what U.S. organizations have to say about the Enterprise Software Suites they have shopped and are currently using, says Frost & Sullivan Director of Competitive Benchmarking Services Tonya Fowler. Given that these products/services are largely concentrated within the manufacturing and service industries, we are specifically surveying organizational decision makers from those select industries.

CXOs evaluated an exhaustive list of developers and also had the opportunity to rate any additional developers not included on the list. The major award candidates include:

  • Epicore
  • Infor Global Solutions
  • Microsoft
  • Oracle
  • Ross Enterprise
  • Sage Software
  • SAP

We are excited about this new area of study in the Choice Award Program and are already planning to replicate this study in late 2008, adds Fowler.

Specifically, Frost & Sullivans panel of CXOs will be utilized for this research as well as other upcoming CXO research. If you would like to be a member of Frost & Sullivans Professional Forums as powered by Greenfield Online please visit http://www.FrostForum.com. There are many panels in which to qualify beyond Frost & Sullivans CXO Panel. As a member of any of Frost & Sullivans panels, one can wield influence in the products and services routinely used, as well as glean information that is happening in markets right now.
